The display shows HRH Prince Mahidol Aduldej’s perseverance in his medical studies in spite of suffering from influenza and worsening renal function during the final year of his studies. Still, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine cum laude. His worsening health was followed by his falling ill with appendicitis. His doctor advised that, unfortunately, his health would not permit him to enjoy longevity. Nevertheless, he never revealed the doctor’s diagnosis to anyone, and he continued to work hard all the time as he had always done.
