This display shows HRH Prince Mahidol Aduldej’s dedication to his work as a doctor even though it was for merely three weeks. He had His Majesty King Prajadhipok’s permission to work as a resident physician at McCormick Hospital in Chiang Mai Province. At McCormick Hospital, he treated patients regardless of his royal status and worked dedicatedly, all the while carrying out his duty as a doctor with extreme care. Thus, he became dearly loved and respected by the people of Chiang Mai who named him ‘Prince Doctor’, which was properly befitting to his gentle conduct as well as his high royal status. |
