“ The Beginning ”

This zone tells about the teaching and learning and the life of the first batch of the university’s engineering students in 1967. At that time the Faculty of Engineering operated temporarily at the Faculty of Medical Science, University of Medicine (the present Mahidol University) at Si Ayutthaya Road, Bangkok. The tough six day a week learning schedule, the close relationships among students of the two universities and the constructive freshmen welcoming activities all contributed to the launch of this new university to the public. It also displays the story of how they nurtured their hope of constructing the university in Pattani for Prof. Dr. Stang Mongkolsuk’s students.
