A Refuge for Fellow Man

This zone tells about the use of PSU people’s knowledge and expertise in solving problems and developing the southern Thai region: the establishment of Songklanagarind Hospital to serve the local people, so that they do not have to travel far when ill; the setting up of the Dental Public Health Project for Rural Southern Thailand to improve and promote rural people’s oral health; the field work done in Tsunami-affected areas to help the forensic team from the Forensic Sciences Institution carry out post mortem inquests; the research and solving of problems carried out regarding the insurgency in the 3 southern border provinces by the Conflicts and Multi-cultural Southern Thailand Research Institute; and the solving of problems of violence according to Islamic principles by the Islamic Studies College. ์
